The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Award

The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Award honours the extraordinary contribution to strengthening innovation and entrepreneurship within the educational sector.

DSEB’s Innovation and Entrepreneurship Award is awarded once a year to a dedicated individual and an institution that have made a special contribution to strengthening innovation and entrepreneurship within either higher education, upper secondary education, or vocational education and training in Denmark.

The award is intended to recognise exemplary institutional efforts as inspiration for others, while also honouring a dedicated individual who, on a daily basis, makes a significant contribution within an educational institution. A dedicated  individual may be awarded DKK 25,000, while an institution may be awarded DKK 100,000.

The award may be granted on the basis of nominations submitted by individuals at management level at educational institutions, companies, organisations, etc., or it may be applied for by individuals themselves. In the case of self-nomination, the application must include a nomination endorsed by the applicant’s immediate manager.

The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Award has an annual theme, and this year’s theme is “Robust and future-oriented learning environments within innovation and entrepreneurship.”

The award is intended for studies abroad or for cross-geographical collaborative projects to further develop either higher education, upper secondary education, or vocational training in Denmark.
