Susanne Juhl becomes new Chair of the Board of DSEB

The Board of Danish Society for Education and Business (DSEB) has constituted itself with Susanne Juhl as the new Chair of the Board. With her strong profile, Susanne Juhl will help ensure the association’s work to strengthen Danish education, research and innovation. She will do so in collaboration with Vice Chair Birgitte Nauntofte.

Susanne Juhl joins DSEB’s board with extensive board experience from privately and publicly owned companies as well as foundations. She currently works as a professional Board Chair and advisor, focusing on strategy, investments and decision-making processes.

As Chair of the Board, Susanne Juhl will lead the association’s overall activities, including investments, awards and DSEB’s role in strengthening collaboration between the business community and educational actors.

“DSEB plays an important role as a meeting point for stakeholders across business and education. I look forward to contributing to the further development of the association’s work – both in terms of investments, awards and operations – and to ensuring that DSEB continues to create value at a time characterised by rapid change,” Susanne Juhl said.

The CEO of DSEB, Stina Vrang Elias, looks forward to the collaboration: “Susanne’s considerable experience will be a major asset for DSEB. The association needs a steady hand at the helm when it comes to operations and investment policy to continue supporting some of the most important awards and initiatives at the intersection of business, education and research,” Stina Vrang Elias said.

Susanne Juhl succeeds outgoing Chair of the Board Torben Möger Pedersen, who is stepping down at his own request after ten years in the role.
